Design is my passion.
I discovered a love for it back in high school when I was encouraged by my art teacher to pursue it as a career. I pursued a degree in Graphic Design and immediately went to work in the field. I have over 15 years of experience, not only through employment but also a lot of pro-bono work for non-profit organizations.
In 2013 I had the opportunity to add to my skill set by going back to college and earning an Associate of Applied Science: Information Technology – Web Design from Seattle Central College. With my graphic arts background, learning how to take those talents and put them to use building web pages was a natural and exciting career progression. I was fortunate to have been a part of a rich and vibrant college environment at Seattle Central College in Capitol Hill.
My acquired skills in Web Design led to employment opportunities and career growth, creating rich web design visuals and graphic design assets as a freelancer for a marketing company based in Poulsbo, WA. I also did a short stint as a contractor for CDK Global, Inc. of Seattle, WA where I was tasked with redesigning of automotive dealership websites.
I worked at DoubleDown Interactive on the Marketing Art team as a Web Developer/Artist from 2016 through January of 2020, producing branded Landing Pages to support special casino promotions. I also have been on the cutting of web development by creating HTML5 Playable Ads for Ellen Degeneres Slots and DoubleDown Casino. My graphic design talents are also a dependable resource to the Marketing Art team, preparing marketing campaign materials for top-tier games, promotions and chip sales.
My talents have been an asset to DoubleDown Interactive: Fort Knox of Seattle, WA where I have worked as a Sr. Unity UI/UX Artist, taking design specs and UX wireframes to realize designs from sketch phase, to polish, to Unity/Perforce integration culminating in producing iconography, menus, game design elements and features that help our team exceed our goals and increased customer satisfaction and appealed to new users. I am proud to say that I was part of shipping 2 titles.
More recently I worked at Bossfight Entertainment where I worked on My Vegas Bingo casino app. After our game studio was acquired by Netflix Games I worked as a Sr. User Interface Artist, successfully shipping 2 titles.
