About
Design has always been my passion.
I discovered a love for it back in high school when I was encouraged by my art teacher to pursue a career in graphic design. I attended Clovis Community College for an Associate of Arts in Graphic Design. Then, I worked in the graphic design field for over 10 years, in professional employment, and did pro-bono work in my personal time for various non-profit organizations.
I earned an Associate of Applied Science: Information Technology – Web Design from Seattle Central College in 2014. My graphic design experience was essential as I extended my design skills into front-end web development and web design, a natural and exciting career progression.
My acquired skills in Web Design led to employment opportunities and career growth, creating rich web design visuals and graphic design assets as a freelancer for a marketing company based in Poulsbo, WA. I also did a short stint as a contractor for CDK Global, Inc. of Seattle, WA, where I redesigned and created automotive dealership websites.
I worked at DoubleDown Interactive on the Marketing Art team as a Front-End Web Developer/ Marketing Artist from 2016 to 2019, producing interactive web pages to support promotional campaigns. I also created cutting-edge HTML5 Playable Ads for Ellen DeGeneres Slots and DoubleDown Casino. My graphic design talents constantly supported the Marketing Art team, preparing campaign materials for top-tier games, promotions, and chip sales.
In 2020, I transferred to the live game development team at DoubleDown’s Fort Knox mobile app. I worked as a Sr. Unity UI/UX Artist, taking design specs and UX wireframes through the iterative discovery, design, and validation process, culminating in Unity/Perforce integration. I designed and produced iconography, menus, game design elements, and features that helped our team exceed goals and increase customer satisfaction. I am proud to say that I was part of shipping two titles.
I worked at Bossfight Entertainment as a UI Artist on the cross-functional team for the My Vegas Bingo casino app.
In 2022, Netflix acquired the Bossfight Entertainment studio to expand into gaming. I worked at Netflix as a Sr. User Interface Artist, successfully shipping two titles between 2022 and 2024.
I began a Bachelor of Science in User Experience Design at Western Governors University in May of 2025 and expect to complete it by the end of 2025. I am beyond excited to bring my User Experience Design skills to the technical field to create empathetic, intuitive, and accessible design, resulting in easy-to-use products that allow users to complete tasks efficiently without frustration.
